During the COVID-19 pandemic, Amy launched the Dormont CoronaChoir, a virtual singalong that united thousands of people across Pennsylvania, performing from their porches while Amy led live sessions via Zoom. This initiative, featured in The New York Times, became a beacon of hope and community spirit during lockdown and inspired further creative efforts, including Corona Crafted, a local art show that evolved into the nonprofit Dormont Arts.
